Welcome to PestPilot. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the app. By downloading, installing, or using PestPilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the app.
PestPilot helps you identify pests from photos and provides related reference information. Identification results are generated automatically and are provided for reference only — they are not professional pest-control, medical, or safety advice. Always consult a qualified professional before taking action based on an identification result.
PestPilot creates an anonymous account for you automatically based on a device identifier. No registration is required. You are responsible for safeguarding your device. You may not transfer, lend, or sell your account, or use another person's account.
When using PestPilot you agree not to upload, transmit, or otherwise provide any content that:
1. violates any applicable law or regulation;
2. infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
3. contains unlawful, harmful, or malicious material, including viruses or malicious code;
4. attempts to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app or its services.
All content included in PestPilot (including but not limited to text, images, software code, and interface design) is owned by the app operator or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit such content without prior written permission. You retain ownership of photos you submit; you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the identification service.
PestPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability. We are not liable for losses caused by force majeure events (including natural disasters, network failures, or system maintenance) or by interruptions of third-party services.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the service at any time. For free features, changes may be made without prior notice. If the service is terminated, we will notify you through an in-app announcement or other reasonable means.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published through in-app notice or other reasonable means. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, please stop using the app; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, it shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction where the operator is located.
